Oh no, not another one. I'm a web developer and working with different browsers is painful. Developers need a hug na talaga.
Anyway, Chrome is a new internet browser created by Google. Things I like with this browser are:
- display window is bigger
- clean UI
- you can close a single tab if it goes slow
- combined address and search bar (just type a url or a search engine keyword)
- task manager (open this to close frozen tab)
- incognito window (any activities done in this window will not be saved in your history, cache, cookies)
Things I don't like:
- your saved passwords are not secured. you can't specify a master password.
- it can't render some favicons properly
- no plugins
- MS Windows only
Although you don't have to test your website with Chrome if you've already tested it on Safari because they are both based on WebKit, problem is, I don't do this because generally, only 1 to 2% of the market is using it. So why bother? (Sorry Safari users. Fish tayo.) If chrome gets big, then I don't have a choice.
